Slice the onions and finely chop the tomatoes. Take the eggs and make three slits on its sides. Take a bowl and add the cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala and mix it all up with as little water as possible. Take a frying pan and pour some oil. When the oil is hot add the onions and sauté till they are dark brown. Now put in the gram flour and sauté till that too is a light brown. Add the freshly made spices paste. Sauté for a minute and then add the tomatoes, coriander leaves. Keep cooking till an aroma begins to rise and the oil leaves the edges of the pan. Add 1 cup water and the slit eggs to the curry. Bring to a boil and add salt to taste. Simmer and cook till the curry reaches your desired level of thickness. Remove from heat and serve.
